Technical Writing

As an office assistant at Utah Valley Health Clinic, I noticed a need for instructional pamphlets. We sold a product from an MLM. The details of the system and program were very confusing and frustrating for most patients. I created these informational documents to help guide customers through the process.

Proof Read / Edit

To say proofreading is my passion is no hyperbole. I catch mistakes most people would miss and it's like an addictive game. My editing is focused on not only correcting improper writing but making a message more clear and concise.

Check out this irony! As part of my application for an editing position, I proofread their job listing. I was certain it had to be some kind of a test to get the position, but actually, the mistakes in the original job listing were completely unintentional.

Blog Writing

These are two samples of my blog writing. Both of them focus on marketing or social media. The majority of my experience blog writing has been of this nature, but I'm able to write any style of blog or other article.

Social Media

In my function as Professional Writer and Social Media Manager at ResNexus, I developed a marketing strategy which included a hashtag campaign and regular contests. This photo contest was a huge success. The contest ran for a month and resulted in 6022 unique engagements and 206 new followers. A lot of our customers loved the contest and wanted tips on how they could follow a similar strategy to increase their own followers.
